Merge Modern, a new contemporary art gallery space nestled inside Catalyst Coffee, is proud to announce its inaugural exhibition curated by local artist and gallerist Angie Rehnberg. This opening marks a new chapter for the Albuquerque arts scene, where local vision and community connection come together under one roof.
The show features the powerful and deeply personal work of Jodie Herrera, an acclaimed New Mexican artist whose paintings have become synonymous with the visual language of healing, heritage, and resilience. Herrera’s work is joined by pieces from George Evans, Maewyn Padilla, Angie Rehnberg, and other New Mexico-based artists whose practices reflect the region’s layered histories and bold creative voices.
This exhibition invites the community to gather, reflect, and celebrate the transformative power of art in everyday spaces.
